Default Has anyone made their on turbo kit?

Hey just curious about this....has anyone made their own turbo kit by piecing parts together?

What did u do and how did it turn out?

Would this be way be cheaper than say buying a bolt on kit (greddy, aps, etc)?

THanks for the help!

We designed and ran a GT42R single turbo kit for a little over year. Made 780rwhp. It has since been removed and is for sale because we are going bigger.

This was on our show car. We did lose A/C because we never ran new lines. Has a front tubular structure and the turbo is placed where the air box use to be.

No reason to try and do your own kit, especially on the Z. There are already kits out there that take the guess work out of things. It would cost as much or more to duplicate an already existing kit.

Hello Greg I say you guys should make that tubular structure for those who want to run twin TBs with TTs or just want more space to work with .. and also as an added bonus it will strengthen the front end.

Do yourself a favor listen to what everyone is telling you. Unless you have a full shop at your disposal dont do it, this car isnt a civic nothing is easily accessible.
