Default Help...Need Source for Silicone Tubing for APS ST

Hello all,

Can anyone point me to a good source for silicone tubing for FI application? Trying to find something to connect a pipe to my APS ST compressor inlet.

On the APS ST, there are two flexible tubing that leads from the air filter to the turbo compressor inlet.

One connects the air filter to a hard pipe. The second connects the hard pipe to the compressor inlet.

I noticed that this second tubing has a small tear in it and I would like to replace it myself.

I believe it is item #7 in the APS bill of materials (70 mm ID x 380 mm)

Can you point me to a source where I can get this tubing? If the APS clamps cannot be re-used, can you also provide where I can buy clamps?

Thank you for your time.

Vinh

This is the coupler that APS supplies.

The attached pic shows the coupler installed.

This piece makes one sharp bend, so I'm wondering if a silicon straight silicone will work or if I will just need to get a replacement from an APS dealer?

If anyone has had experience replacing this with a silicon, please let me know.

I remember sugerspun saying he replaced a coupler that was folding under the pressure. I am not sure if it was that one You might want to check with him.
