Got it. Sound great, although your extreme turbos will love these cold temps.

My first time out driving with the APS 3" exhaust, a guy on a harley got next to me. He looked at me, then covered his ears as he gave me to "no" nod with a nasty look on his face. In sign language, that means "your car is way too ****in loud, gtfo".

Looks great. You're gonna have a very complete awesome car when it's done. It certainly caught my eye when I was there in December.

Damn you man ... I first looked at the thread and thought ... "I'm not doing a build on my engine, wtf?", then I realized it was my arch nemesis. lol

Can't wait to see the whole setup come together.

Buahaha. Classic. I don't mind loud, my last car had a 3" catless cutout downpipe.

Ron - Thanks alot, I'll be a very happy guy if it comes out half as nice as yours.

dutchboyimposter350Z - Whatever .

Neat pics. As time has progressed, I noticed our floor is changing from bright gold, to a weird orangy color...really need to fix that.

The engine and trans and back in the car. Just finishing up the FCON and Knock Amp wiring, run the intercooler and misc piping and we'll be firing it up shortly.

Thanks for sharing.

Is there a less obtrusive exhaust system out there for power levels around 550-650whp?

Probably a custom exhaust with bigger mufflers and more resonators. An X pipe also quiets down a system a lot. Im running straight pipes, 2.5'' exhaust X pipe, 2 small resonators and 1 small dual in dual out muffler, and my car is about as loud as nismo with HFC.

I suggest magnaflow mufflers or borla. Flowmaster is better at muffling, but doesn't flow as well at those power levels.

OH i totally forgot about the EVOTT exhaust! Thats anice and quiet dual exhaust thats pretty big. 2.75'' piping

Greddy Evo TT tapers to 2.75" IIRC. You could do any 2.5" exhaust for the lower end of your spectrum...SFR, AAM, APS to name a few any TD 2.5".....I love my APS 3" TD, not loud IMO, its a shame I cant hear it when the dumps open

That is exactly what I would suggest. Probably a few extra ponies with the 3 inch true dual, but the 2.75 inch has a more subtle sound to it. Very tolerable...even for an old dude like me..haha! http://www.forgedperformance.com/sto...cat=258&page=1

That was fast, you guys don't waste any time, that's for sure. I can hardly wait to see what kind of numbers it makes. I sent you an email about the boost controller.

The EVOTT is a nice balance......good throaty deeper tone.

Sharif, it's all relative......compared to me you're a youngster.
