ok so i baught a profec b spec 2... i just have a few questions about it cuz my friend installed mine for me since im out of the states on a deployment.... any ways when i talked to him for a short while... he said he installed it and took it right back out because it affected the duty cycles of the injectors... dont know how and why it does that but it does..... has any one had this problem before and if you did how did you fix it? would it be possible that he hooked it up impropperly? can yall please help me out on this one because im not looking forward to gettin another boost controller if this doesnt work on my car....

 

Your friend should get away from your car and never touch another car as long as he lives. The Profec B Spec 2 has zero adjustment for the fuel system. By duty cycle I'm assuming he somehow stumbled his way into the setup of the Profec. There is a setting on the unit called Duty Cycle but this is WASTEGATE duty cycle not injector. Please have him leave the unit in your car and never open the car again. If he puts it back in and does not set the other parameters correctly you're going to end up venting all your boost to atmosphere via the engine block...

lol already got it sorted out thanx to MIA.... lol tod my friend not to touch the car untill i go home on the 22nd when he comes to pick me up from the airport.... then off to ther tuner and get it tuned and fixed...

 

Thats the right decision. I'm attaching the Install Guide for the Profec B Spec 2 to this. Read through it and you'll see what I mean about duty cycle.. Also note theres nothing about fuel system in there:
