Default AutoMeter Nexus gauge owners

Im really considering these gauges and just would like to know where some of you guys mounted ur control box for the gauges? And wondering if you guys got any pics? and what gauges you all went with? Im going FI in about a month so im starting to get some of the stuf ima need and i was just wondering what you guys chose for gauges. I want the wide band air fuel gauge and boost gauge for sure but i dont know weatehr i should get the fuel pressure gauge or EGT temp gauge. Which one do you guys think is more important to have?

We just installed a full set in our shop 350z I'll get you some pictures tonight of the setup. For now they fit nicely in the 3 top gauge cups, but due to the angle of the stock gauges behind the cup they point down just a hair. Not too bad. Lastly, there is one color on there that is VERY close to the factory gauge color, so it matches nicely.

I have a friend who is a rep at autometer and he sponsored us on these gauges as he said they have made great improvements with the controller unit. So far I love them! Cool little sd memory card to log and transfer to your pc.

If you need a set just let me know. We carry the full line of Autometer gauges, including the nexus and new CompII's (led backlight with red lit needle, very crisp look)

Thanks
Chris

how moisy are they? I saw a video of them on yourtube, and it seems that the stepper motors are really noisy on those gauges.

did autometer fix that?

Could not hear them with the car turning on, when the key was only to ACC and they initialized I could hear some motor noise but it was marginal.

I've got the triple gauge pod (will take some pics later) with an oil press, oil temp, and boost. As soon as Autometer finalizes the Wideband A/F (looking like May/June timeframe, in the latest news), I will get that and a fuel pressure gauge, which will be mounted below my radio.

Anyways, I am very happy with them. There is alittle stepper motor noise that you can hear if the car is not running, but really, not much as all.

I have the Nexus gauges in a triple A-pillar pod. As others have said, the only time you'll ever hear the stepper motors is when the engine isn't running.

Is that the yellow or amber setting? Just curious because they have both. I'm really considering these gauges (boost/vac and wideband a/f, when it comes out ) and just wanted to see how close the amber setting matches to the OEM ones
