is there other testpipe options for the greddy, besides a custom or fabricated setup? It would be nice to have everything fit, as is, even if it means that there will be some restrictions.

So,how does the AAM 3" TD compare to the APS and Greddy exhausts?
Is it as loud as the APS? I get the impression that the APS is pretty loud. The loudes exhaust setup I have heard was a friend of mine who had headers, HFC, and Topspeed Pro N1 exhaust. Would the APS 3" and 3" DP be as loud or louder than this? His setup up was to the point of being to loud for my tastes. If anyone has the AAM, Greddy EVO TT, or APS 3" in the midsouth area, please PM me. I would like to hear your setup

The AAM 3 inch is about as loud as the APS 3 inch. APS might be just a tad quieter, but nothing significant. The APS fits much better than the AAM exhaust, as well.

I guess its safe to say the AAM AND APS are about the same in loudness levels.
Now when you say loud...would the APS 3" be as loud as the Topspeed Pro-1 exhaust with headers? (sorry to ask again, but this is the only loud exhaust I have heard in person..just trying to get a good grasp on the loudness compared to what I have heard)
Also, is the Greddy EVO TT about the same (in loudness level) as the HKS TD? It seems these two exhaust would be close to the same level of loudness do to Greddy's big resonators. I just want to make sure if I switch to greddy, Im not switching to an exhaust with slightly bigger piping but the same sond level.heh. B/c the whole purpose of me switching to a different exhaust is to find something with bigger piping and a bit louder so I can hear myself on the track.
Sorry to ask so many redundant questions, but if I can get some more advice, I can try and make a better educated decision.
BTW, what exhaust do you have on your car now sharif? I heard your car on one of the track vids you posted, and sounds nice from the vids.
The Evo TT is louder than the HKS. IIRC, the Pro-1 with test pipes and headers is way louder than any of the exhausts mentioned. The 3 inchers tend to be a very deep loudness...rather than a higher pitched raspy loudness.
Right now, I have the AAM 3 inch, but i wish I had the APS 3 inch. Both of the 3 inch exhausts have a very deep note at WOT...almost sounds like a Viper or something.

I'm coming from a 240sx with SR20 and 3" all way back from turbo so, I think the APS or greddy evo tt should be just right for me.
Also, get some pics of thost FP 3" recirc downpipes. Im still undecided on whether or not im going open dump or recirc, but I would love to add those to my ever growing list. You think your DP's will be on sale by the end of April?

I have the AAM and i must say it's not that bad....on a cold start it's a little loud.....but all in all not as bad as the APS 3" in terms of volume....and yes the fitment is not 100% but it is a nice exhaust
what is the actual ID (inner diameter) of the greddy tt exhaust?? I'm thinking of upgrading from my current aps 2.5 exhaust but don't want anything too loud... if thats even possible... lol

That being said the GReddy EVO TT still sounds great, but is much quieter, and I have APS 3.5 down pipes. I never tried to fit the EVO TT to my APS 3.5 Down pipes WITHOUT modification because I assumed they would not work. ( I am pretty sure they don't bolt up without modification )
The GReddy EVO TT on Nitrouz' car (4.24L Stroker, APS Extreme, etc) made 680 rwhp at 14 psi and the exhaust was not a limiting issue. Ofcourse we did modify this exhaust as well to eliminate the bottleneck on the EVO TT.
Hope this helps,
