Problems with my JWT set up
Hey everyone I have the JWT set up on my track 350z with the greddy tt exhaust system and test pips. The problem I am having is that when i boost in 3rd gear the car falls on its face and then i cant go anywhere and the car wont let me rev past 2500 rpms. So then what i have to do is shut the car off and wait a couple of mins. Then when i start the car back up its fine until i boost in 3rd gear. So if anyone can give me some info that can help me figure out this problem that will be great.
hmmm never hear of this problem. Maybe its overboosting sending the engine into limp. thats what is sounds like.
Do your gauges read any diff in 3rd than they do in 2nd

Yeap overboosting is probably the issue. When you change out the exhaust to that size and test pipes you have to address the boost increase and clamping the MAF signal somehow.
Stock boost is around 7 and when we did a car with 3" exhaust and test pipes it climbed to around 9-10, at that time we added a Unichip the owner had from pre TT kit and took care of the clamp plus tuning fuel and timing for the added boost.

The JWT has no overboost control. The MAF is draw through and so should not be seeing signal clamp. It sounds like either the car is going too rich or the plugs are fouled. Do you get a flashing check engine light or a check engine light at all? What's the ambient temps when this is happening?

you may have a boost leak as well...there have been times when i've partially blown an IC pipe and have had limp mode issues, and no SES light.
it's def worth checking the pipes connected to the FMIC--and easy.
