I'm about to buy a used TN kit and i have a 06 Z. so i have a quick question , not to sure if you guys could answer but rather give it a shot

The TN ecu that comes with the 05 revup, could that not work with the 06?

 

emailed TN also. just seeing if anyone else on the forums got anything?

 

i think osix350z had tn on his car , but he ended up selling his kit , dont know why

 

yeah i talked to him, i think he had a utec.

i know the steering rack is the only thing

but id like to know if some1 used the 05 revup ecu on the 06

 

You can swap ECU's and it will interface properly. The steering rack AND steering knuckle must be swapped for an '03-'05 model. Also you will need to cut the uppipe at the front of the motor and either weld a new piece in or install a long silicone coupler to clearance the cam phase adjusters on the front of the motor. I did all of osix350z install and tuning if that helps . Check out our mysepace for a video of us track tuning his car. Times were a little lower then expected, but the over "feel" of the car was awesome!

 

BTW we made about 390RWHP on a Mustang Dyno so we assume slightly over 400RWHP on a Dynojet!
