The APS EW isn't exactly ready yet.... I'll post when it is and more details on the issues I posted on 350zmtrng.

that is one hell of a run 70k on the stock block! atleast you drove it instead of letting her sit there without driving..sounds like it was a blast to drive.

Started it up for the first time last night - the thing purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

APS EW will be in on Tuesday; will fit up later in the week after the necessary modifications to the flanges - also turing the wastegate 90º to dump into the atmosphere.

Next couple days are going to drive me nuts keeping my foot out of it as she's broken in. I have to have dyno results by month's end

Hmmm - a little hiccup along the way - took a quick drive around the block: smoke coming from under the hood. Spent most of the night trying to find the why she was hemorrhaging a sh*tload of oil out the driver's side - best I could find was *perhaps* a faulty valve cover gasket seating (but nothing significant was found - a little residual RTV from the previous cover was all). From underneath, you can see where it leaked onto the exhaust manifold and ran down the length of the header, so the leak has to be taking place higher than that point.

Took off the valve cover, douched it with black RTV, will let it sit overnight and try tomorrow afternoon.

The oil supply to the turbo runs along that side, but couldn't find anything obvious there. Upper oil pan is dry - variable timing regulator is firmly seated. Drawing a blank as to what else is may be at the moment...

Also stumbles a bit at 5k+ rpm - I imagine it's the larger injectors and the lack of a compensated tune for the breathing upgrades.

ASIDE from these issues - seems to run great - will keep everyone posted

EDIT: Was suggested by my buddy helping with the install that I may have some blowby due to a faulty PCV valve and may need more crankcase ventilation. I'll do a search to validate that likelihood, but I'm holding out hope that the gasket repair was the key.
