Did your tuner modify the HKS harness properly?

Dave.. Running stock ecu at the moment. Basically getting it running before taking it to the tuner to install the fcon and harness.

The kit should run on the stock ecu from what I understand. Wont be the safest or the best but will be driveable.

What do you mean about modifying the harness? When I had the HKS SC the harness was a PNP affair with no changes to it.

Did you leave the battery disconnected when you disconnected the TB? Did you turn the key to the on position while the TB was disconnected? There are two possibilities. One the afore mentioned which is easiest to fix by disconnecting the battery and ecu overnight. If it still has this issue I think you may have a bad ECU on your hands. Not sure how that happened, but I've seen it before.

There was one time when the TB was not connected when the ignition was turned on.

Basically what you are saying is to disconnect over night to so that on next ignition it will relearn the position etc.
