Most of the guys on this board have had their fair share of problems with their cars (myself included). The trick is figuring out what you're going to do within your means to find a route back, up, or out.

If I know you Noah, you'll piece this together and end up with something strong by the time it's all said and done. Whether it's an LS1 or a VQ, good luck.

Damn, Noah....
Sorry to hear about the engine... But I know you had some plans for it anyway.

Good luck bro and I will give you a call when I get back into town later this month.

How do you think the clutch caused any problem? When they work, they are supposed to hold. Likely, you bent a rod that jammed into the block or something, and that bent the crank. Your problem with it going into gear is with the tranny or slave, and is just conincidental to your motor problem.

actually after further inspection the clutch may have had more to do with it than planned....the low oil seems like an improperly sealed oil filter....crank pully is shot along with the belts....a local shop has the car so I can drop the motor and send it out if need be.....more info will be disclosed as it rolls in

The only way the clutch could have destroyed your crank is if it came apart on you and locked the motor up.

A poorly sealed oil filter is one sad way to end a motor's life.

Again.. about your LSX project. Are you sure you know what is envolved? I just hate to see another long thread on a special project and then halfway through, it just ends like so many RB26 yadda yadda....

FYI, the clutch is not the issue..There are other items that would come apart prior to an crank bending, if a clutch had locked up, which is impossible by the way..

Like people who put 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee in their sig.

I put mods in my sig to stir up conversation and allow others to ask me a question or two directly. I must get a few PMs a month regarding items in my sig. I like helping people out, call me SUPERMAN, lol...

BTW, I like Jeeps so I'm not ragging on you or them
