Default Are my Procharger belts too tight?

i just did a little work on the Z since its been down for the winter...
-replaced both blower belts
-did a "real" oil change on the blower from the bottom
-replaced denso iridiums
-put in a motordyne spacer with iso gasket anc CCV
-replaced air filter on blower

cranked it this morning and it doesn't seem to be running smooth... i disconnected the battery so i would think the ecu reset... car idles a little strange and the blower doenst have the usual subtle whine... sounds like its boosting a little at idle...

i tried 2 different places to purchase a belt tensioner gauge with no luck... maybe i am just freaking out

Do you have a boost gauge? There is no way the procharger would boost at idle......

Did you do the technosquare re-set? Did you stomp on the brakes/accelerator pedal while the battery was disconnected?

Also you should have about 1/4 of an inch in belt play when pushing down on it.. Or check the procharger manual. It has recommended specs..

maybe your car needs to adjust to the spacer... when i did my plenum mod, it ran a little funky for like 100 miles until it got "used" to the new plenum

the belt tension is at about 1/2" pushing down with the thumb... i didn't do any sequence when the battry was disconnected... i guess i'll try it when i get back home...

maybe you threw your tune with the spacer. Drive it around and see if the adaptives kick in maybe. Just take it easy and monitor it. SHould go away. Make sure your belts are not too tight either.
