Default Built 350z finally running

It's been a long process, but I finally had the chance to hear my baby purrrrr! My initial goal, was to make 500-500rwhp, but after seeing all these Z's pushing more power these days, I said what the hell and decided to go all out. Before I started my quest for a built motor, I had the PE kit. I was real impressed with the spool and quality of the kit, but, it lacked the hp potential that I was looking for. So I decided to search around for another twin kit. I wasnt particularly interested in the Greddy kit, since the turbos are old in design(they make the power, just didnt want mitsubshi turbos). As you already know, the choices among twin kits, is pretty limited. So on the advice of one of my friends, I looked into the Speedforceracing kit. Basically, it had all the trimings I was looking for.(long manifold runners, choices of turbos, quality, and affordibility)

Fast forward 6 1/2 months to where I am today. Here is a break down of my setup:

Speedforceracing kit(twin 60-1)
built longblock(cryo treated)
Aries Extreme Duty Pistons(cryo treated and coated)
Pauter Rods(cryo treated and coated)
lightened crank
Ferrera valvetrain(dual valve springs, retainers, etc.....)
AAM Plenum Spacer
port and polished head
cometic hg
L19 head studs
Pathfinder cooling upgrade
Koyo Radiator
Speedforceracing Exhaust(3in)
Exedy carbon carbon twin disc
CJM fuel system w/1000cc injectors
walbro fuel pump
Hks Fcon Vpro
etc.........

As of now, I will be driving it around, trying to put some miles on the car. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks, I can have about 1000-1500 miles so I can turn the boost up. The only limiting factor is the damn fuel system . Phunk, horry up and put this dual setup on the market!

I will post some pics of the setup, hopefully today or tomorrow. 700rwhp, here I come!

I didnt want to go with a sump system, thats why I will keep my hp goals around 600-650, since I only have one walbro pump.

I need to go and calculate everything! I bought the majority of parts through ForgedInternals. But I need to add all the parts I bought and calculate labor as well. I know its somewhere between 22-25k, not including all the suspension(D2 coilovers, Cusco Sway bars, Gt spec underbrace, Gt spec front strut bar, etc....) and the first PE kit I purchased .

I didn't know Autobahn handled Z's...Sweet. I thought they were mainly into the 2JZ's.

They do mostly 2JZ's, but are expanding to 350z and Evo's. Autobahn does awesome work and take there time to make sure everything is right. He wont let me take the car out, until he drove it around for a couple of days, making sure nothing is leaking or out of the ordinary.

You should see some of the supras over here . His car hopefully, will make somewhere around 1400hp and others here are pushing 1000+.

Well I finally had a chance to see, what she can finally do! I want to say thanx, to everyone at Autobahn( for the motor build and install) Tommy, Kareem, Coleman and Jotech(tune) Kenny and Tony. Baseline numbers:

5.5 psi 380rwhp
10 psi 479rwhp
17 psi 619.6 rwhp
18 psi 639.7 rwhp(power was climbing, but had boost spike at 5500rpm)

There were a couple of minor issues we encountered! Anything above 13-14psi, we started having boost spike. The problem is, the wastegate spring is to soft, for the amount of boost, we're trying to make. I'm going to order 12lb springs next week and have her tuned again. I'll post pics of the tune later today.

BTW, I had a dream last night, that I ran an E55 AMG from Dallas to Houston. We started from a 3rd gear roll, gave him a 3 honk notice and we were off. He pulled about a half a car from the initial start, but quickly put about 3-4 cars on him, by the top of fourth. Mind you, this was at 10psi. Remember, it was just a dream I dont condone street racing, but highway racing is different
