Hey guys ever since I installed my vortech ive had startup issues. When I turn the key it doesnt immediately kick in and give the powerful start that it did when it was NA. It now sounds like it is going to stall for about 3 seconds and kind of gurgles its way to running. It has started getting really bad lately where if I dont run my car for a whole day it does this. Anyone know what is going on?

 

you're running a UTEC right? Do you have bigger injectors?

What battery are you running? You need one with a decent amount of cold cranking amps

 

What kit did your get full or tuner?

 

injectors need to be scaled better ? Fuel preasure to high ? If your battery has enough to start the car , it wont have an effect on how it runs

I have bigger injectors, utec, stock battery. Car runs fine after startup and subsequent startups

 

Prob just need some fine tuning.

 

what can I change that will affect startup?

 

I don't have experience with the UTEC. Do like Booger suggested and check the injector scaling as well as the fuel pressure.
