Default Dyno for new JWT 700 BB turbos/track video

https://my350z.com/forum/autocross-road/258176-dyno-for-new-jwt-700-bb-turbos.html

VRT built motor, dyno chart and one lap of test and tune at Laguna Seca after.
Trying to find the optimal balance and then will take it to the track again.

Here you go...

1. My Yellow Time Attack car that has placed 2nd and 3rd in Unlimited, Modified, and Street classes in the last two Redlines Time Attacks.

BTW, this was on a stock motor with the BB700s. Raced on a stock motor as well.

TUNED FOR TIME ATTACKS...

Currently Underconstruction for 800+ WHP.

Alberto.,

Here's another one...

This car's pretty much a dyno queen yet nice and pretty...

She has never seen a racetrack.

How much boost for the stock motor car? Those Dynapack's are loose in my experiences compared to DJ's, as you can see by the way higher TQ than power that none of your cars exhibited on the Dynojet. BTW-it says "Big Greddy" are those #'s with the upgraded compressors because they are kinda low for the boost but I like the top end power...

The dyno's are appreciated though, nice to see VRT #'s on something other than a DP

1. Yellow - 14 PSI on stock motor with the BB700s, 255 pump, S2 cams, boost pressure regulator, and Nismo 530 Injectors. 100 octane.

Always ran like a champ, yet all to pieces with crazy build, cage, new core support front end, suspension, and aero. Will make a post soon.

2. Nice eye...you can pick them for sure. Yes, Upgraded Greddy's. A little lag compared to the BB700s however impressive power for the boost that is certain.

3. I will put Ed's G35 on the Dynojet at the same levels and see how the numbers compare next week. I like the ease in and ease out of the Dynojet personally. Great for reference numbers.

Thanks for the appreciation Alberto...

is something different with the setup on those cars? because all the cars that dyno on the JWT Dyno have 100 more tq than whp.. and all the others dyno less TQ than WHP

Yes,

One is BB700 Garretts...Smaller turbos with more boost after 14 PSI the torque out measures the WHP from what we have seen.

The Other 18G Greddy.

Take care.

Yes...sire, those BB700s are super brutes, I love mine, at 6000 rpm it still has lots of headroom left; can’t wait to see what they can do with the hydras.

435 rwhp with 7 psi stock injectors, stock fuel delivery (with exception of the JWT pump). We decided to keep it conservative till the Hydra EMS goes in and redline at 8000 rpm.

I could be wrong...The BB700s we get from JWT have a minimum waste gate spring of 10 psi so you might be running 10 psi or?

Unless your installer adjusted the minimums. Can you confirm this...

Good-luck.

No....you are absolutely right, M the wastegates that normally ship with the BB700 were only limited to a minimum of 10/11 psi. Vinny Ten had custom ordered the kit from Jim with the option of a 7 psi adjustment. The custom order experience was hilarious, thinking about it now, as we had to wait for the right-side headers to be ‘made,’ yes I did say 'made' as in fabricated being that it was not an "off the shelf item," as we received 2 lefties with the initial shipment

And, there was also the other issue, of the 2nd Z, a roadster, whose wastegates could not be opened enough to reduce the boost, and his car was not released, same time as mine……..I can still hear him *****ing that the weather is so, so nice…what a waste………he was off to London on a business trip, at least I can get some peace…… just j/k Paula

We both have the Vinny Ten rebuilt racing engines and we had to wait for the arrival of the hydras, now that the hydras are being installed....it'll only be a matter of time
