Looks nice. I could never cover 90% of my tach like that though! I know you can read the end of the needle, but with 500+whp things happen too fast, I think you will regret that.

I completely here what you are saying, man, but I think the picture makes it look a little "worse" than it is... In actuality there is a considerable amount of visible needle and I love having the A/F in such a highly visible location. Looks completely flush, Scott did fantastic work!!! Could have put it right on the steering wheel but having a huge "INNOVATE" tatoo'd on my forehead wasn't an attractive proposition, hehe...

Either way, thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated...

This is exactly the way we feel in regards to 1/2" head studs, but We were FLAMED by a few in regards to the L19's about 1.5 months ago when we posted it.Now their telling you good job, cause they realize it is true. The 1/2" studs will offer way more holding power than the L19's standard sizes.
Your motor build looks very complete, and will make good power.
Good luck with the build!!

ya, i actually did the testing about a year ago. my torque wrench only reads to 180lbs, and i hit that and was able to put another nearly half turn past that point. it HAD to hit in the 220lbs+ range, the washer inbedded into the head, and started to strip the nut on the end of the stud. let sit for a 1/2 hour, let the torque off of it and was able to unscrew the stud out of the block with my fingers. basically, zero thread distortion in the block what so ever. i can only guess what the actual torque i had on it was, but i was standing on the block and using my legs in a squat position using my back and legs to get as much torque as possible, and i'm no weakling, lol! the 1/2" ones can be torqued to 122lbs tq as per arp's spec.

Sounds great. Let me know I will get you some at, or near cost. If that is what it takes to get you to come out with your car to a track with us. Laguna Seca would be perfect.

Yup, the only thing you need to be careful for is cracking the block or heads by over TQ'ing.
