Swapping out my Test Pipes
OK I've searched about this . . . . like 5 times . . . . and got nothing.
So i've decided to ask.
Right now I'm running the Kinetix Resonated test pipes . . . . honestly I got the TT kit used and didn't even know it had the Kinetix Resonated . . . sooooo I'm thinking of getting the APS 2.5" test pipes in there and trading/selling the Kinetix . . . . I just feel kinda odd having a smaller Test Pipes than Exhaust (2.5" custom), what do you guys think?
Sam@GTM was saying I'll probably won't see any real world improvements, but I just wanna feel better mentally. >.<
And the Kinetix is 2.25" in diameter, with the APS being 2.5".
Thanks

id suggest to switch to the 3.5's. the difference between a 2.5 and a 2.25 is minimal at best. You'd probably get more power by just not running an exhaust or a slightly more aggressive tune
Everyone is saying switch to 3.5", but when I talked to Sam@GTM about this he was telling me of overboost issues that has come up in the past for cars with the 3.5" and some other stuff.
So after talking with him I've opted to stick with the 2.5" APS pipes.
I'm sure he'll chime in at some point . . . ..

I would not recommend installing the 3.5 down pipes. in every situation we had done that, it resulted in boost issue.even if you install a boost controller the min boost you will get is about 11 t0 12 PSI, no argument theses test pipes will give the best results as far as horse power gain.
if you are steel considering the 3.5 test pipes then you will have to install the forge actuators (black) spring witch will give you a base boost of 7 PSI
hope this will help

Yeah man thanks alot, I have no desires to switch to the forge actuators right now so I'll just take your recommendation I think.
Thanks alot.
Oh yeah I sent you a PM about something else Sam.
