If you're getting full boost at 3000rpms I wouldn't worry about it at all.

His car has NO MORE LAG than any other BB700 car. Tom is just asking questions as he is trying to get familiar to the car and FI in general.

His car is a monster and I have recommended exhaust yet he has wavered back and forth as a larger diameter exhaust will also be NOISIER.

Give and Take.

My Yellow Rumble Bee has true duel 3 inch gathering at a single Five inch pipe. Picts below as we fabricated the custom exhaust.
Note: I have even larger turbos and really no lag compared to some FI set-ups I have driven in a variety of different vehicles.

Exhaust makes all of the difference, as well as cat deletes of course. Just create more noise.

Have fun.

Surely those turbos have spool-up time, but I think something is off with what we're seeing in the dyno. The torque curve is basically completely flat from 2400-3500 RPM. The turbos may not be making much additional power at that low RPM, but you still have 3.5L of displacement that makes torque. Is the CR of this engine changed? I have the same turbos on my 3.1L and a much lower, 9:1, CR engine, and more torque than this car . It just doesn't make sense, IMHO. What was the boost? Maybe we can see a boost vs rpm curve as well.

Were the RPM slowly increased (i.e. no load) until ~3500 RPM?

That's more what I figured the curves would look like...
