Just wondering what you guys thought would be the essential gauge cluster for the new sts re4ar mount turbo kit that I will be having installed soon. I'm deffinitely getting the Innovate wideband and a Defi boost gauge. Any suggestions on another one that would be critical or would these two be sufficient?

A rear-mount kit?! you need a completely different set of gauges for that.

Yeah. Didnt STS tell you what you need because its way different then a normal turbo setup. Youll need oil pressure gagues for the pre and post turbo oil lines since they are so long and a special low temp EGT sensor mounted in your gas tank so you can tell when the turbo gets the gasoline up to the right temp.

So being picked on here reminds you of being picked on in school huh?

Too bad we don't get to see you cry like we would have in school.

gauges that are the most useful for the STS:

-"hp" gauge
-G meter gauge
-"danger to manifold" gauge

for other turbos though I'd probably get completely different gauges. The STS is a different story though because you know, it's rear mounted

EGT Gauge with Pyrometer on exhaust manifold, NOT down pipe
Oil Temp Gauge
Fuel Pressure Gauge
Boost Gauge
A/F Gauge

Those are the essentials you could do things like monitor A/F on each bank and EGT on each bank but that gets a little expensive. I would just stick with what I posted above.

Good luck!

I would look into some kind of warning light or alarm for the oil scavaging pump for the turbo. That is if the kit doesn't already come with one.
