Default Am I Missing Anything?

I'm going APS TT here in the next couple months. Here is what i have so far to do with the install of my APS TT kit, let me know if I'm missing anything....

1. APS TT Kit, Full Kit
2. JWT Clutch / Flywheel w/braided clutch line
3. Autometer Nexus Gauges (Boost, AFR, Fuel Pressure, Control Module)
4. A Pillar Triple Gauge Pod
5. NGK Iridium One step colder plugs
6. Amsoil 10w-40 6 qts with EAO Oil Filter
7. Dtec Map Sensor for Boost

Is there anything important i am missing that i need to do with install to make this thing safe?

I have UTEC and Exhaust w/ test pipes already.

Everything looks great. I would only put 5.5 qts however. APS kits are very sensitive to overfill and tend to smoke a little when exceeded.

I would upgrade the exhaust to the evoTT or aps 2.5". the evo2 is OK, but I felt it worthwhile to upgrade mine to the APS 2.5" when I put the TT kit on

I am not a fan of the JWT clutch. I would look into a clutchmasters, spec, act, or multiface carbon like the ATS or Exedy. I know many will defend it saying it is great, but just going by my experience with it.

Otherwise, beyond stating that you are getting a custom tune - which I assume you are - I think you are pretty much set. Happy boosting

I had the JWT clutch on my APS TT stock block for about 20K no slips no PROBLEMS. My Z put down 435rwp to give you a example.

Recently during my build I did upgrade to a ATS clutch, but after countless hours of abuse on the JWT it still looked great, no noticeable wear.

^See, that didn't take long. I am not a fan of running an organic clutch at these power levels. they are proned to glazing, which can, but not necessarly, happen on a single hard launch. I also HATED the feel of the JWT. The engagement point was horrible and the clutch feel felt sloppy to me.

I am running an ATS twin carbon now and it is a great clutch. Firm pedal, quick engagment, but also very streetable

Well if you are going custom tune that sucks because you just bought the unichip piggy back system that comes with the APS kit. I would strongly reccommend some kind of turbo exhaust APS 3in or 2.5in EVO TT. As for the clutch everyone has their own preference. I personally do not like the JWT clutch. I like a much stiffer pedal other drivers prefer soft pedals. I have used both a RPS street max and a ATS & ACROSS carbon triple plate. I have never slipped either of those on 550 rwhp+ cars. I would seriously consider selling your UTEC or selling the UNIchip. I know this will start controversy but its all opinion and experienced based everyone has their own ideas.
