Default Ceramic Coating?

Hey guys, since i have about a month before i install my APS TT kit, i was looking into things that i can do before hand to either keep the heat down or increase the longevity of my engine. Today i was at a tool road show and came across this http://appliedplastic.com/ceramicexhaust.html. What to you turbo guys think about this stuff? I was thinking about doing my manifolds and down pipes in the "Black Satin" coating. Any Opinions?

Jet hot FTW... Manifolds and downpipes are definite candidates for this when looking to keep the engine bay cooler.

both companies buy their products from the same manufacturer. only one company sells 95% of the industries products these companies use. in other words, no need` to ship your stuff to the best advertiser, and look local. they will be using the same product.

ceramic works good, but only if the inside is done also. wrap is the best per $ spent. application of these coatings requires media blasting to make the surface pourous and free of impurities. wrap requires a bucket of water and some tie straps.

i have an oven and a batch of alum. ceramic though if you wish to stay this route.

I've got the Black Satin coating on all my APS TT hot parts. Works great and looks good too.
