Common... lets make it happen!!!

Also, what about 3.5" single exhaust?? or something like 90mm ones for this kit?

isn't single 3" too small for 500+??

That a bit of a misconception IMO. Anything from 2.5" and up should take you to 500whp. But a lot of things come into play, not just pipe diameter. # and angle of bends, # of mufflers, and density of muffler material are very important when considering a turbo friendly exhaust. Bigger isn't always better (with regards to exhausts that is )

Question about the intake charge pipe - does it taper much to fit the throttle body? I've been thinking about custom fabbing a pipe up since I now have an intercooler with 3" outlets, but don't REALLY see the point without going with a bored out upper plenum and larger throttle body... hmm...[

Taurran,

The i/c piping is 3" all the way to throttle body.

Tengai:

I was j/j actually, but it's all not bad.

Thanks, I actually assumed it was. I'm just trying to determine if there is a difference in power delivery between a 2.5" intake pipe and a 3" pipe. One reason is that the throttle body and upper plenum inlet are smaller than 3". I guess I'll find out soon enough. Anyway, I really like how the piping you've got looks. Let me know if you're willing to sell any of your piping once it's in production, I might be interested in buying one.

Kind of. I'm just upgrading the Turbonetics ST design where I see room for improvement. That's basically the gist of what was done with this ST kit as well. The turbonetics ST's intake charge piping is 2.5" from the compressor outlet, intercooler, and to the coupling near the oil pan. From there it is 3" to the MAF/TB.

We're going to run the regular piping for now to see how it works. I'm more concerned about clearance in the radiator area than the diameter, really.

I could have some custom piping welded up, or if PL feels like making a few bucks maybe they can sell a spare one.
