Well that is a hard decision. I went FI and while I love the power/driving experience... I had to go through a lot of BS people and shops screwing me over to get to where I am now.
I would go with: "I went FI and wish I would have known then what I know now... Then it would have been a much more enjoyable experience. But MAN DO I LOVE BOOST!!!"

It's an addiction. There's a million things that make more sense when considering where to dump your money, but rolling a boosted VQ is like automotive crack. The instant grin & semi-chub make it all worth while
Like a lot of us
, I want to go FI (as indicated in my sig
), but I don't have the $$$ yet. I want to do quite an ambitious build project for my G ($50-100K).
In the meantime, I do a lot of research over here in the FI and suspension forums so that I learn from other guys' experiences and mistakes about everything from various parts, all the additional items needed when going FI, the $$$ involved, and about various shops/tuners. I want to try my best to make sure that I get it done right the first time.
I want to go FI so bad and have every intention of finding a way to make the money to realize my dream and vision of the ultimate G35 coupe. I'm looking into a second lucrative career on a part-time basis to supplement my full-time income. I already had one job interview last week.
