It would work but why would you want to do that? You need a duel even a borla would be better.

well i bought the car and the guy i bought it from had the wxhaust done well but the twin exhaust meets up together to form a single 3" he said he was saving weight and that the single should be just fine for the power that the turbos and motor are capable of.

So you have TP going into the stock Y to a custom 3" single?

i dont think it's the stock Y but yes it is a Y and then yes into a 3" into a resonator then into a muffler that looks like the stock one that sits sideways but with only one outlet instead on 2. it's about the same size as the stock one. he said it goes in and splits into 2 pipes and then back into a single 3" outlet.

Don't do that, it won't help much in flow and will just make the car sound like sh*t. Trust me keep it on!

No, no drift just drag. I can bet you that Y is restricting your flow more then that muffler is. Cutting it of is not going to help, either keep it or go duel. Don't waste your money.

The reason its so quite is, your still running internal wastegates. Purchase the externals ones, along with a larger exhaust and it would sound intimidating.

AAAHHHHHH!!!! be nice to my old car!!!

as to who tuned it, it was mark at sgp. i purchase all the turbo crap from sharif. and as to the exhaust, it is a very nice custom single 3 inch that is extremely quiet, because i used to do alot of night time street drifting. if your going to cut it have someone extend it nicely with a straight pipe and tig it back together, using some good stainless steel. don't take it to a ghetto exhaust shop.

and as for the blow off valve, that tial is alot nicer than most japanese stuff, and i've had alot of japanese stuff.

i'll be watching, don't ruin that car trying to make it go WHHOOOOSSSHHH, or CHACHACHACHAcha cha chaaa!!

please be nice to it : )

dont worry i wont make it go whhoooooosh like the RX7 with an RFL and yes the exhaust is very nice but a little to quiet for me. i am taking it to a shop here in town that has done every exhaust on all my cars i have had and they are very well known it's performance muffler shop. i'm not touching anything except for the last muffler. i figure for the power that the car will be running i wont need much more flow just a little louder sound. the car is fast enough at 8 psi, hell it doesnt even get full traction until 4th so i've been running 5.5 psi most of the time and that is also fun. anyhow im going in tomorrow to cut the muffler off just to see how it sounds and then go from there. oh and aaron i did mention it was done well : ) i like the car very much but just want a little tone.
