the proof is here.. its not hate..
everyone around here likes to over use the word HATE too much and have no idea what its intended use is

the poster put a little laughing smiley and told him to change the tune first thing out, i find that a little offensive, since the car has been running gang buster on marks tunes for a couple of years now. it has been through 300 tires or so drifting, a few track days, and lots of street play with a greddy turbo kit at 8psi. the poster clearly just wanted to make the car louder, and this person is coming into a thread just to post about marks tune. i'm not trying to start a fight since i'm not going to defend what mark does, but he clearly did a decent job on my car, and treats me fairly, so i would rather people didn't jump into threads about my old car just to make remarks about mark. it is as bad as miaplaya or whatever his name is bouncing around and constantly attacking or defending everything.
as to mark turning the fcons badly, while i do believe it and feel for those people, it has nothing to do with me, this thread, or my old car, and should be left out. mark has tuned a ridiculous amount of z cars, and has been building the motors for as long as anyone out there. there are bound to be some cars from his shop which have fallen apart, just like with any shop. drag it out in the appropriate place.
and please don't read my post with an angry context, because it isn't. i really like this board for the most part and it has been extremely helpful, along with its vendors.
edit... you posted again while i was typing. your from across the country, and have no firsthand knowledge of a shop pretty far away. and you have a silverado in your sig as your car? i think it is pretty irresponsible of you to make accusations and snide comments about something you most likely have no firsthand knowledge of. if mark blew up your car and you had to go buy a truck to replace it, i apologize, but i doubt you know anything about the situation with this particular z. i can't stand how the internet can make all these people who have no firsthand experience instant experts on any subject they post about. but then again, i must be the only person on this forum who would rather just buy another oem nissan block to replace mine if i ever blew it up, rather than build it, i liked mine soooo much.
this is why i don't post very often. kevin, i hope you enjoy the car immensely, because i loved it. it is put together pretty well, and i wouldn't worry about it much, because we gave it a good shake down

thanks aaron, i do love the car. i cannot get enough of it i cant stop smiling everytime i look at it and when i get in it i smile from ear to ear. so mark and myslef decided to leave the exhaust you made and just run an electric cut out just before the muffler so i can leave it in stealth mode and open it up when it's time to play or travel. it sounded amazing without that last muffler but just a little too much for everyday. it kind of sounded like a loud farrari

as to the car being ****ed up by marc, he didn't build it, he only tuned it. everything gets built here in house, literally. i have a good fabricator/mechanic who lives at my house, so lots of neat cars get built.
a lt of neat cars is right. wish i could come back to texas just to have some cool ppl to hang out with and some cars to work on not to mention a wealth of learning how to do all sorts of cool things to cars. i miss it there it was nice seeing you guys and being able to go play a little

(incidentally they are also tuned by marc, but i'm not really here to defend him, i'm just stating i use him and have had good luck)

yeah i'm sure something would have happened by now. i was going to have the car re tuned because we have 91 oct here instead of 93 but i just decided to run a few gallons of 100 oct since we have that at the pump
