Default Crazy idea, i want to try with the TN kit.

nevermind delete this thread

For those that are curious it was to

I was thinking about doing a tial wastegate with it turned to do open dump....and use the evolution wastegate on the recirculation pipe on the downpipe....and routing it to work somehow and hooking them both up to a boost source....to cure the small downpipe/hot air issue uptop on the kits. and help with boost spike and so on.

So you could run higher boost and gain alot more power, get more topend. It could probably do it and it would work but my question was is it worth it...and how well do you think it would work...my friend has a used tial wastegate so its not gunna cost much to do and he has a dumppipe i can bend up and make work.

Performance Factory has done Tial wastegate setups on multiple cars with success. I'm not sure if you mean to run both wastegates though, or why you'd do it.

I know tial wastegates have been done but im talking about two of them....one before the turbo...working as the wastegate(the Tial) and one the downpipe after the turbo (where the recirculation pipe hooks up) to open at 8-9 psi also, to help with small downpipe issue (to gain more topend). Kinda like a cutout just with a wastegate cause thats the only think you could really fit up there and make work, So the exhaust had the exhaust to go out and the other dumptube giving the effect of bigger piping.

Hmm... that's assuming you would even build up enough backpressure in the exhaust system to open a wastegate, which wouldn't work unless you had some way to drive it like its own boost controller. Sounds like it would end up costing more than an open exhaust.

yeah there is no way that would work, it actually would only build more low end tq if anything, now an electric cut out for the top end would build more top end power. thats about it..
