Wow, most of you talking about the stock clutch holding at 400whp for a while. Shoot, my 2003 Touring Edition is completely stock, and I burned up the clutch with in a matter of about 15 or so Drifting practices. I can't even imagine having 400whp and on a stock 350z clutch. Upgrade your clutch while you can, cause if I can burn it out on a stock Z, then I would have melted it within a couple of days being TT'ed and drifting.

Its all in how you drive it. I burned my stock setup (w/ Greddy TT) on launches.
Since then I got the JWT combo and love it.

I have had my stock clutch in for 9,000 miles boosted making around 380whp. It hasnt started slipping but i got a feeling it will soon. I have a tolal of 29,000 miles. I just bought a jwt clutch. I wanted to get a flyweel but i dont wanna hear any chatter at idle.

Default clutch

gosh didn't you see my thread. im at 360 with a TN kit and i can feel the loss of power just becasue the clutch is not rated for that power. can you drive it yea. Can you unleash all your ponies no. I also slip 1-2 and 2-3 bad so a clutch is in my near future.

Oh, and I ran my stock clutch at 370-400whp for 2+ years hard on the street and at the drag strip/autocross. The only issue I had was sticking to the floor in the mountains but I think that was because I had old fluid and boiled it.
I have an early 03 as well. The stock clutch has 40K miles on it, 150 full runs of NO2 w/ about (40) 150 shot 1/4 mile runs on DR's. No tranny, clutch or axle problems.

I'm just waiting on one intake pipe - then I'll take my ST w/ NO2 to Jeremy for the tune. He'll want to throw a clutch in it too, but I want to see what the stock will hold.
