why is every one soo touchie???? getting off topic just a wee bit.. what i think it comes down to is your preference as you can make any kinda power with either option, just a question of how much you want to spend..

Actually, there is some truth to that. One of the reasons I went with an ST is because I couldn't really afford the TT but I also used the rationalization that it wasn't necessary.

Stock block for stock block, an ST will give a TT a run for it's money. It is only when you start getting into more aggressive tunes which often warrants built motors will the difference between the two set-ups get more prevalent.

if you have the money go with the twins. I have driven both, and both are a blast, but it all comes down to mass air flow and the TT setup will have more. You may not plan on a motor build now, but down the road you might and the twins will be a better choice at that point. Either will be great, so you need to make the final decision for yourself

Just go single twin is over rated. If you find you want more power just build your engine and spray.

If your hungry enough for installing turbo you might as well get the twins IMO. Cause either way you'll end up blowing your motor and then rebuilding it. At that point the twins will be alot nicer for the build.

i say buy a Stillen SC.. get bored with it.. then go Single.. then build the motor.. then realize you want more power than go Twins..

its basically what alot of people do on this forum.. so why not?

Read my signiture.. Hahah~ Once you taste the power of turbo, you'll want more and more.. Just go with the one that has more room for growth and potential... There are barely used or even new APS TTs on the classifeds right now for under $6000..

I had an awesome time with my APS ST. I was pushing 380whp, but since APS ST sits so low, oil return was always a problem for me. Scavenge pump leaked and soon oil was leaking from the turbo, because the pump wasn't sucking out the oil fast enough.. So, when I sold the APS ST to my buddy, I went to work to fix the leak once and for all and I did... Solution? simple.. better pump...

after reading numerous threads on this board, a single turbo would be the ideal set-up. unless you're getting a Vortech SC.
