just wanted to let you know, i dont know your sn or real name. Sick g35 btw. Heres the pic i snapped of your vortech:

i noticed it when i was reading sentry65 thread and looking through my vortech pics.

That's mine. What's wrong with the pic so I can correct it? Is the bolt for the tension pulley installed in the wrong direction?

according to the pic posted in sentrys vortech question thread, the bolt is backwards. Its seems to cause some issues.

Yup, looks like he is right. It is installed the wrong way.

Mine was backwards for about 20,000 miles. Oh well car is gone anyway.

Every Vortech owner should check thiers . Its easily put on wrong , and runs extremely hot when on wrong

I changed the bolt around tonight.

One more question to make sure the pulley is on the right way. That tensioner pulley has a retainer clip in it. Does that clip go toward the front or the rear of the car?

towards the rear of the car.

from the intall ins, 6.I;

"...install the aluminum idler with the bearing retainer snap ring pointed towards the rear of the vehicle."
