Default Do you like your APS TT Kit

This is purely a thread to see who is satified with their APS TT kit. I'd like to hear from people that have had thier kit for a little while now and see if you are happy with your purchase.

Try to tell me about the kit, not the install, cause a bad install could make any kit a disaster.

satisfied, yes. the kit delivers power beyond what the stock motor can handle, then beyond what the supplied fuel system and EMS can handle, then beyond what a spec 2+ clutch can handle, then beyond what a set of 10 # actuators can handle, then beyond what a set of ARP head studs can handle, and then... well I am at this point and I will let you know

Who is going to say they don't like their TT kit? I suspect anyone who says no in this thread is a troll who does not own the kit.

PS- I'm a definate "yes."

I don't have the kit but I do know that I've seen people on complaining about there turbo seals leaking and smoke no decel issues, so maybe others were having these problems or maybe other problems. And maybe enough problems to say they are unhappy with their kit.

The smoking turbo thing is a rare occruance. these are garrett series turbos similar to many turbos on the market. Similar to the ever so famous disco-potatoe, similar to the turbos that are included in the JWT TT setup, etc.

The kit is high quality. fitment is better than OEM. High quality piping, FMIC, etc. Kit addresses every aspect of converting your car to FI. Every nut, bolt, bracket, you name it. You won't have an issue like a wastegate falling off or something along those lines

APS turbos are water cooled. The seal deal is mostly Turbonetics and they are now retrofitting water cooled as well.

There is one word everyone who has seen my car has said.

Refinement.

If you want to delv into FI. APS TT is the complete solution.

OEM fitiment, with OEM like powerband that just never stops pulling.

Ive had no issues, but my dealer has a 1year warrenty on all parts/labour.
its alot of money off the bat, but it easily pays itself off in the long run. No routine trips back to the shop. My first month ive put 5000km's on it. Never skipped a beat. 60000kms on rest of the chasis/engine.

Id like to also point out - heat. My charge pipes are ice cold at the moment. I have a thermal spacer too, but the heat shielding and positioning of the turbos makes for an extremely cold engine bay. This equals more consistant power. A dyno shows power at optimal conditions (99% are done with bonnet open), but on the street, consistancy will win u races

I have a question, and I know there are a lot of variables when it comes to max whp but about where does the APS TT stop when it comes to max whp.

each turbo is rated at 300~hp. so your looking at around 600whp before you start pushing the limits. But u will need upgraded fueling for that.

Around 600whp with NORMAL APS TT, anything more I'd say get the Extreme TT kit.

Other than that . . . I LOVE my APS TT.

MrTomcat is into 600 whp territory with his kit. I hope to make a run for it when I get my new headgaskets and cams and such installed, but we will see. anything over 500 is plenty of power for me

I Like The Kit-and I Think That It Is Very Complete However A Friend Of Mine Has It And Has Already Replaced One Turbo Due To Bad Seal-parts Where Not In Stock And My Friend Had To Wait A While-p.s Not The Best Customer Service In My Opinion- I Tried To Order The Aps 3inch Exhaust And No One Had It And To Order It Straight From Aps Would Have Taking About 1 To 2 Months-
