+1 I've seen numerous leaks in the welds. Who would have thought that for 2000.00 you would get a broken exhaust later down the road.

not that the us ones are bad quality...but jdms are generally better

 

Actually the topspeed exhaust is pretty high quality, and costs a fraction of what the others do. You picked some interesting comparisons there. The stillen exhaust actually has the best NA gains out of any exhaust I've seen. I would venture to say the Invidia exhaust is better quality than the Hks exhaust.

Like I said, i really dependson where you get the exhaust. US companies and shops are absoultely capable and do produce high quality exhausts.

 

Agree. In general, quality JDM exhausts (and other performance parts) come at a higher level of manufacturing precision. This is because they get more time for product development and have larger facilities that can fabricate and reproduce cast pieces. I'll regress and say that not everything made in the US is ****, but that you have to pick carefully.

My experience was that in which I spent over $1700 for an exhaust that leaked and never fit right. Sounded nice, but for the money and headaches involved, I'd much rather place my time and resources into a JDM part. But again, nothing and nobody is perfect...

 

ARC delayed the exhaust, so I decided to go with the HKS dual 2.5" plus test pipes for my small turbos (PE TT).

Ill be getting the AAM 3" single for my single turbo, unless someone else makes a comparable single 3" y pipe back exhaust.
