We didnt run it all the way 7K...if that matters. Havent spoken to the shop in about a month now...after another issue of shotty suspension.

Anyways, hopefully I've done the right thing by sending it to GTM. They seem to be the in thang...but so was the other shop at one time. First..ZCar, then these guys. I got ****ty lucky i guess. Could have had a second fully deck G35c by now.

We can tune your Split Second for you and actually make some power if you are interested. We are in Santee and we do our tuning at the Dyno Shop.So we can put the car on one of three Dyno Dynamics or a Dynojet.I would have to agree with everyone else.....your dyno chart sucks. It is the worst dyno chart of any turbo 350z or g35 that I have ever seen. But hey you make some good torque.

AWD dyno?

The torque makes it deceiving...think the car is faster then it really is.

Looks like a pretty typical VRT dyno actually... way more torque than horsepower because it's falling flat on it's face, letting off before redline, etc. Go VRT!

That's a very dangerous AFR curve; I'd hate to see what the timing map looks like

Jim does not tune all the cars on the dyno, and he does not have a 4 wheel dyno

That torque curve looks suspect as well I would be surprised if that is good.

Too bad they didn't plot boost to see what it was doing.

If it is the JWT kit the split second box only controls timings and no way to tune air fuel so I would think something is wrong with the fuel pump setup

why do people say the ss box cant tune the A/F . It can , and Ive seen a couple of VRT's maps . they look like they are Flashed ECU's and the top end is tuned with the SS box .

The JWT SS box can control fuel, but needs to be rewired and setup to do so. I think Westpak is saying that out of the box, the fuel is not controlled by the SS box...only timing.

Ok
I had seen a couple of maps..I thought I had seen some tuning in the fuel map on the top end.

As Sharif mentioned I was referring to the "out of the box" JWT kit, it is not wired to tune fuel, but yes the SS box can tune fuel if wired to do so like in the Vortech SC kit.

Hey Tim. Pann Auto no longer has the AWD dyno. They only use the store front now and just sell parts & stuff. Green Light has that part of the shop now with the AWD dyno, they are only able to use the dyno on selective (weekend) days. Kinda sucks.
I was there last weekend using the AWD dyno to tune an EVO that we built.

Are people taking into account the torque converter? That would explain the unusually high low end torque.

As far as the AFR goes... yikes.
