Well I personally don't have any experience with a RSX but I do remember my Honda being light as hell. My turbo B18C5 didn't have 700 hp but 325 hp was enough for the front end to wiggle and torque steer.

+1 Definitely a honda power band.
+1 Lack of traction + FWD = ***** to floor it on the street. I'm sure daily driving wouldnt be that bad though since the turbo doesnt kick in til late.

Nice car. Looks like a sleeper.

FWD with a regular street tires (non DR) has serious issues putting dow 300whp, while I run reg tires, bad camber and can put down nearly 600whp from as low as 2nd gear. The dyno is impressive but I wouldnt hesitate 1 second to race this guy on the street and show him traction > power

I bet you couldnt show me one guy with 300whp on regular street tires who could hook up from 1st or 2nd, they would either spin or peddle so bad they would get yanked 2 cars before 3rd gear. Regardless, I could care less what Maxima/RSX guys do, 99% of the situation I described will spin

Wrong again? When was I wrong in this thread the first time? So you are telling me your max was about the weight as my little civic. What year was it? Was it gutted? You also have to remember many Hondas, even the Type-Rs did not have equal lenght drive shafts. That's a problem within itself.

On a street light race 0-50run a stock Z/G would more than likely pull it out the hole and the Turbo RSX would walk up to it. From a 2nd or 3rd gear roll the RSX would win if the driver is skilled. I had 275 MT ET Radials on the front of my turbo'd Maxima (130mph traps), and 1st gear, even at on a well prepped track, was tough to launch. 2nd was okay at the track as long as I shifted easy, on the street I needed to use speed based low boost to get traction. 3rd was okay street or track. Never again will I drive a high hp FWD car. FWD FTL

Doug-your tripping, they run SLICKS or DRAG RADIALS, most of the guys your thinking of Im sure at least run DR's. Notice I said on the street even a 300whp FWD car on STREET TIRES would have issues hooking up.

nope... just took the spare tire out... it was a 97 GXE .. 4th Gen Maxima's weighed from 2780 - 3100 lbs.. depending on year and trim.. the 95 GXE being the lightest.. thats why people always got suprised by maxima's.. they never had any idea how light they were.. and thats why the fastest stock maxima was 14.7 with only 190 crank hp
