Default AMS Radiator and FI

Anyone here running the AMS radiator? I just got a PM from them and it mentioned a new shipment has arrived. I'm interested in reading some long term reviews from those who signed up for the first batch. thanks

I'm running the AMS, it's OK, the price is lower than most, actually quite a bit lower. My only issues were with the fitment of the radiator and the drain plug. The radiator, at least mine, required some trimming of the frame that it fit's into so be prepared for that. Second, the drain plug was kind of cheesey, what I mean by that is it's just a flat boss with a plug that screws into it that is also flat. The problem I had was it leaked, between the two flat surfaces was a o-ring that would just squeez out if tightened so it could not seal the drain. What I did was use a counter sink bit to chamfer the drain boss and put on a smaller but thicker o-ring and that did the trick.

I installed prior to doing the twin turbo and so far it's working great.

PWR FTW... It also has a secondary chamber for the AT guys, but for MT, it doubles as a built in power steering cooler I'm trying to get one for my G through SGP (as NOBODY else seems to carry them). When I receive it, I'll do a write up.

IMHO it's all about Griffin Radiators...they are sprecifically made for the AT G35 sedan cars and they will make anything that you want for $399 total.

I think the coupe fitment will be a bit different, unless you give them specs to build a custom one...better yet, send your old radiator to them and they will build one exactly to those specs to drop right in!

They do lots of NASCAR radiators...they are top notch...have been using mine since 2005, no problems!

Wow I wish I knew that before I got my AMS for my sedan. For the extra $100 I would have done it.

Any updates by AMS radiator owners? I am trying to decide between this or the Koyo V-Spec radiator.

Seems AMS is no longer a sponsor here, so I was wondering if their product wasn't that good or not.

Is the V-Spec one the only one thats is smaller than 2" thick? I'm looking for one that's only a bit thicker than stock, since the JWT TT piping would get in the way.

Just get the big Koyo, thats what I use. I drove my car for 600 miles without fans thru the hills of WV to IN with this rad, hows that to stomp on AMS.

My bro Jkenefic had a little trouble with his AMS.

Does the big Koyo fit with the JWT TT piping and the stock rad fans?

I know Dave90TT had trouble with the AMS fitting with the stock fans and JWT TT, so he had to get aftermarket ones.
