Default 07 Fi

Okay, so basically I am looking to FI my 07 base but it seems nothing so far is compatible other than NO. I really do not want to have to install this just to have to rework out the kinks when it comes time to install the TTs. I was just wondering what the general opinions/estimations are on when they will release some FI for the 07. By the way, I do not want to install anything on the car right now that I will have to replace later on after FI.

fi for the 07s, for what it looks like there arent too many companies workin on these. the 08-09z will have a new engine as well. i didnt go with an 07 due to the fact that it wouldnt have as much aftermarket as the DE engine. maybe big name companies are looking foward to 08-09 because they still have plenty of business withe the previous DE engine. your best bet is nitrous =). or trade in ur car in 09 or 08 when ever the new 3.7 liter vqhr comes out for the z. plus the cost of these kits would probably be tremendous, because its dual everything all the way down to the sensors. FI for the 07s and future zs wont be nearly as cheap as it is for the previous generation.

I would recommend the Nitrous for your car as you can always use the nitrous with your boosted Z as many are in this forum. For the money nitrous is the Way to go. Sorry to tell you but your probably wont see a TT kit for your car for a long while or maybe not at all, due to the new engines coming out for 08 and so forth. I would say get the nitrous and sit back and watch.
I hope this helps.

There will be no new engine for the 08's and I would NOT grab the 1st year of the redesign on 09. We all know how that goes.

I can't see a practical approach for FI on the new 3.7HR engines either (yet). As stated by Nissan...the throttle bodies are only there for emissions reasons. The newly designed vavle train is what modulates in/out operations (ala BMW 745). As engines become increasingly complex, the price for aftermarket power adders climbs. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

If you really got the FI bug and a budget, trade your 07 in on an 06 or older.

I don't know if this could be done but can the following be compatible
?Wait for the Coswort plenum to come out and see if it fits/eliminating one of the throttle bodies and using one.
?will the current Fcon harness for the Z compatible with the HR harness.
?Will the Greddy TT manifold fit the HR (I think so from seeing the motor at Sharif's, I might be wrong).
If all of the above are compatible then you could use a current TT kit.
the hardest thing is to find out what manifolds/EM will fit the HR.

I dont think I could go through with this, seeing as how this is one of the big additions to the 07...if I wanted a single I would have went with an 06. I realize I may have to wait a while but I dont mind cause I am still in the process of saving. Im looking to save up about 16k-20k. Right now Im at about 1k because of the moving costs from VA to NY. But I should be there soon enough (I dont have to pay housing, educational, gas, or food costs).

If what ZLadie2000 says is true then I should be turboed by this time next year latest!

Thanks for all your input.

The Greddy turbo manifolds fit the 07 HR....it would be fairly easy to put FI on the HR, but it would be mostly custom.

We are. We have a kit here that we need to test fit on a car and we need to rework the upper intercooler piping. Then comes the EMS.Hopefully it wont be too big of a problem.

I'm willing to bet that anything made to fit/work on the current HR will work on the upcoming 3.7L HR, well, as far as fitment goes.

So Cams for the HR are ready now? (I havent even seen popchargers or k&n drop in kit) Whats the difference in power and driveability between stage one and stage two n/a HR cams?

Also what about EMS? I'd like to stay NA for a while: intake, test pipes, exhaust, cams and a na tune....if possible. Hit 300rwhp NA and then wait for FI...
