Default How many TN kits sold vs. how many oil leaking

I am not starting a pissing match, i am curious as to how many TN kits have been sold (mia, maybe you can help) vs. how many are experiencing smoke. I know there hhave been threads about who experiences smoke, but how both those that dont. Post if you have the TN kit and ARE NOT experiencing oil seal failure. Also post how many miles are on your kit. I would like to compare the two eventually

1. andy - 8k on kit.

There is another thread on this, as you stated. What will this achieve?????

Do you think every turbonetics st owner frequents these forums?

as i stated, there is a thread for people that have experienced failure, there is not a thread for people that have not. At the very least i would like to compare the two. No i dont think that everyone that owns a tn kit posts on this site, but i think there are enough people on here that have the TN kit to get an accurate representation of what percentage experience the failure.

I see... apologies as I misread your first post. Perhaps edit it or make a title to the list as to make it more clear?

I had 2 days when the car smoked, but I later realized that it was due to a "different" PCV setup I was running. Once I replumbed the PCV system back to the way it should have been, all was fine.........

so essentially, NO seal/oil problems......I think I had the kit for about 6000 miles.

All the TN kits we've dealt with never smoked either! Realistically speaking depending on volumes there's always going to be a mishap whether its 1 and a 1,000,000 or 1 and 100. That's what warranty's are for

And you should always pin point a problem prior to assuming its a certain part/product failure (not saying you are) however you could see smoke for a ton of different reasons.
