Will those fans only fit with that AMS radiator, or are they universal? I'd like to look into something like that...

They are universal. I went with them because they are thinner than stock. With the AMS radiator and Vortech, I ran into problems with space.

Yeah, I am having to go with the thinner Koyo radiator due to fitment issues with the turbonetics kit. I'm wondering if it would have been a better use of money to just go with that and the thicker one... hmm...

The AMS is about 50mm or so. With the FAL and the AMS, I was still able to clear everything with the Vortech. I'm pretty sure this setup is actually thinner than the stock rad and fan setup. I'll try to take some measurements.

Anyone planning on the AMS, be advised, it's not plug-n-play. You will need to be mechanically inclined to install it. The thin Koyo, on the other hand, is p-n-p.

Taurran, that's rough.
Booger, we have an idea. We'll try it tonight and see what the results are. I'll update this and the guy who is doing the wiring (i8acobra) will probably start another thread on the topic. We'll let you know asap.

Here's some preliminary wiring info, I'll make a diagram later (my hands are still dirty right now).

On aftermarket fan 1, the power wire should be connected to the blue wire on connector 1 and the red/white wire on connector 2. The ground wire from this fan should be connected to the black wire and the yellow/red wire on connector 2.

On aftermarket fan 2, the power wire should be connected to the black/yellow wire on connector 1 and the white wire on connector 2. The ground wire from this fan should be connected to the black wire and the yellow wire on connector 1.

This wiring has both fans coming on when the ECU determines the temp is high and/or when the A/C is turned on. There is only one speed.

Default How about the diff?

I don't see those temperatures but I am planning to add a diff cooling for track. I had to replace my rear gear and pinion plus I find the synthic oil after a 102 degree day is cooked.

Hmm, I remember reading a thread about someone wanting to add an auxilary cooler and a pump to circulate fluid from the diff to the cooler. I'll look around and see if I can find it.
