Default help from engine experts

Looking for some expert opinions on a possibly engine issue
see https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and-repair/288412-update-on-engine-knocking-noise-and-fuel-damper-tsb.html

Was hoping that FI guys with all their engine knowledge can recognize that sound, even though the engine is stock....

Thanks

hmmm, i listened to your vid. sounds like something may be loose. that would create an uneven sound like that. best tool to diagnose is just a set of mechanics stethoscopes. i have been able to find problems to their exact location with those. just from the sound of the vid, i would guess something in the clutch/flywheel or converter (if auto) area. if one of your cam lobes wore down, it would be consistent and raise with rpm.
