If that is the JUN AWD Z I thought they used the VPRO....
As for the OP, I ran the Emanage Ultimate for a while but kept having to replace coil packs. A friend blew his motor because the EU took a dump and the stock ECU took over leading to an extremely LEAN condition = boom. Also had another friend w/ the EU and Vortech SC run into problems w/ his coil packs.

The UTEC is your best bang for your buck. The VPRO is the shiznit especially if you are gonna go for high HP numbers. I currently run the F-Con IS and love it. Close to same features as the V-Pro, HKS CAMP feature w/ the right sensors, uses same harness as VPRO so if I upgrade then it's one less thing I have to change, knock on wood, it has been great for me. May be biased but it may be one the best piggy back systems available. Car idles like stock and drives like stock until you get on it obviously. I'm no expert so these are just my experiences.

Oh, also forgot to mention that if you're a true baller then go w/ the MOTEC!

Emanage blue FTL... UTEC is the minimum EMS setup for our cars. Sounds like for the money, the HKS F-Con IS is a nice piggy back, but nothing beats a true stand-alone IMO.

Don't go with the MOTEC. No one can tune the thing.

UTEC ftw, and it is reasonably easy to find a tuner

Am I missing something... Motec is a great unit no doubt, but I keep seeing everyone throw it around like it is just one of the plug+play options for us. Where are all the 350Z's running it, installing it, supporting it?

Is this the same as the e11v2 unit on the Haltech website? Does the stock ECU still control some aspects (DBW, amenities, TCM on the 5AT, etc?)

thanks!
The Haltech Platinum has been tested on 5AT and has no problem with the automatic.

It is not the same as the e11v2; the Platinum series is an entirely new platform of ecu from the ground up and the same goes for the new Haltech ECU Manager software.

I threw this out there as a joke cause I don't think I have ever seen it used in a Z application. Not on the forums anyway.

Ah, ok. I thought I had missed something because I've seen people debating over it like it's just an off-shelf pnp option.

An email from Sound Performance said the AEM stand alone didnt have a problem with the AT5 either . SO I dont know whats the problem with the Hydra not being able to .
