well yeah you'd always get more power out of a turbo setup, but not everyone wants a turbo
I dunno, the way I see it, if a built short block is around $4500 and the GTM 3.8 stroker kit assembled short block is around $6600

so it's around a $2100 difference to get the extra power, higher rev capability since the crankshaft is engineered to be lighter and better balanced with better oil cooling etc. It'd probably give you around 25whp/tq NA across most of the rpm band.
NA guys spend $1000-1500 on an exhaust that gives them 9whp/tq, so what's wrong with $2100 for 25whp/tq ?

I can't say I think a stroker kit is that much more worth it for a turbo setup either though. All you gotta do is increase the boost for more power regardless.
The stroker kit is about the power that's on tap from the engine itself which is something small engines like the Z/G engine could use more of

What I've been debating with myself is if I'd want to do the 3.8 or 4.2 stroker kit since there's a $2400 difference between the two and the 4.2's sleeves have less cooling capability than the stock open deck cooling channels
