My girl friend picked up a copy of SuperStreet mag while she was at the store . It had a 240 in it with a QV motor with a B. Crower 4.15 stroker kit and a Vortech SC with the 3.12 pulley . It said the car wasnt finished and didnt give a whp number for it . But I did notice that it had a extra pulley on it that looked like a stock Vortech pulley and it is in the same spot the GTM put on Diesel's car with the T-trim blower on it .

^^^^^ That would be the one . Looks pretty good in a 240 . The mag said the one in the article was running 9psi . So I would think it was the stock blower
that car might have the hood clearance for that big pulley there where GTM put theirs
My mechanic was saying there just wasn't enough room for a huge pulley there on my Z anyway
it'll be cool to see what results this setup makes.

this picture is of the 2006 vortech kit, must be a REV UP engine
that's ridiculous
you can use displacement for NA, supercharged, turbo, or nitrous
more displacement = more power, making the most noticable difference at low rpms which compliments the vortech

^^^^^ Was your original post . I guess you took a second look at the pic in the link and changed your post . I was going to say , my pulley used on my setup sticks up higher than the main bracket and has plenty of hood clearance
theirs

...I didn't edit my post
at first I thought you were talking about a setup similar to what GTM recently did, but that one appears to not be a 287 hp engine since it has the 2006 vortech
initially I looked here:
http://vqswap.com/index.html and that looked like a normal 287 hp engine vortech
