Default Somethings wrong...

Last week I went to start my car (05A G35 w/ Vortech, 440 FI, Walbro pump, 1/2 inch plenum spacer, headers, test pipes, td exhaust) and it would start, putter for a second or two then turn off, happened repeatedly. So brough it to my mechanic, he did a scan and it was coming up as a Airflow temperature senson problem, so after trying numerous things and finally changing out the MAF sensor the problem persists, and there are no other CEL codes or any codes for that matter coming up... Anyone have any idea WTF can be wrong???

check the fuel pump relay, to test it swap it out with another relay,i think a/c is the same.also see if the relay gets power for prime(key on)and running.

+1 - also check the fuse block behind the battery - I've blown the fuel relay fuse before (10A fuse, I believe) with the same symptoms as you've listed.

If you aren't too far from MRC maybe take the car over there and have them check it out, Julian is a good guy. It is really hard to diagnose problems over the internet

So this problem happened out of no where? No variables changed on the car before this?

Yeah was running fine, drove some where about 2 hours from my house, spent the night, went to turn the car on in the morning and bascially it would start, stay started for about 5 seconds idiling like crap then just shut off. Will not respond when I give it gas either. I have it at ATX motorsports right now, and they are pretty good, and have been trying everything to figure it out with no success. At this point Im ready to jusy go back stock and bring it to the dealer....

WTF? So a few days ago they call me and say that the Throttle Body needs to be replaced cause it seems that it was the problem. SO they changed it out, and the car IS running now, fine from 1000-3000RPM, but after 3000 it mis fires, and under 1000 it stumbles and turns off. This is so frustrating, I think its time to go back to stock and just send her to the dealer...

What do you have as far as engine management in it? I think Narvin had that car down here a while ago on our Dyno..Was running really lean up top.Did you ever put larger injectors in?
