To those saying he should get another dyno..why? it is just #'s.I was saying that because that dyno didnt work well on my setup.. For some reason it read very low and it was killing my belts.. I went through about 8 belts on that DYNO.. That equals about 400 bucks in belts.. So yea.. needless to say it gave me a bad taste..
I only trust Sharif as a tuner though.. So I sucked up the belts for the tune/made crazy road trips.. I also said that because it does read low.. Everyone knows its the "heartbreaker" thats why they call it that.. So if your about numbers goal wise get a dynojet pull.. That explains it??.........

Really not too concerned with the number. Told Sharif if i got 325whp id be happy. In the end, i just wanted a good conservative tune with nice power. Maybe in the future ill try for bigger numbers, but until them im happy. shoot, i havent even hit full boost and im elated.
As far as belts go, sounds like you have misaligned pulleys. Have you checked your gilmer belt tensioner to make sure the bolt/nut is in right? I hope to make it for a while on the belts. Im going to order a new set to have in the car as a just in case measure.
Now to invest in a roadside repair kit to include the necessary bits for a minor repair to avoid towing:
belts
Coupler clamps
10mm, 8mm, 1/4inch sockets
assorted open ended wrenches
extensions, drives and adjustable ratchets
coolant
oil
rags
light
pliers: needle nose and some heavy duty ones
anything else?

.. Ok, you might want to have about 2 sets of belts.. You may need an allen key set.. I use em all the time.. I also use an entire socket set.. You also would prob want a blade or a knife of some kind.. And a roll of elec tape..
I have 10 extra belts now.. Last edited by Jay'Z; Aug 20, 2007 at 05:07 PM.
haha!! Believe me, you won't be happy with 338whp for long. I am at 384whp and I want more already and I have only had my Vortech for a couple of months. I want 400whp already!!
