Default Finally! 338 whp & 285 wtq, vortech tuner kit dyno graphs!

Well, just got back from Forged Performance where i got my car tuned/dynoed.

Ended up with 338whp and 285tq. I said id be happy with 325, so my goal was met. Dyno was a Dyno dynamics aka "the heartbreaker". Boost is about 7psi.

Had issues with my walbro so i had one installed at the shop. Had to limp it 130 miles to get there. On the way back had 1 issue. my charge tubing popped off the TB. I was like ****! when it first happened and before i popped the hood. Once i gave it a pass over i saw the issue and remedied it within 30 mins. Good thing i brought my tools, looks like im going to make a habit of bringing tools with me (gotta get one of those tool pouches).

So, the drive home was fun. Didnt really get into boost much. Maybe 3psi or so. Gotta get used to it. I also want to give the car a once over tomorrow to see how shes doin. Oil pressure dropped a few pounds, guessing that had to do with the SC resistance?

Glad you got home safely, and thanks for making the drive. You can drive the power curve all day long...enjoy it!
Oh, and congrats doing a pretty darn good job with the self-install. I didnt even have to adjust the belts or anything.

no reason to waste money on another dyno IMO. dynojet would probably be like 350-360 whp

Good job on the self install. What would the 3.12 pulley do? like 360+?

Congrats

Chris

Booger, it was a 6mt. 60000 miles, 10 miles into the trip I voided my powertrain warranty! Yippee!

I was so freaking nervous during the tuning session! My heart raced and im in a whole other world right now. Nearly 1 yr ago i was quoted as saying "Ill never be FI" and im just wondering what took me so long. I wasted too much on NA bolt ons.

Jonb, im going to need to order spare belts, ill post in the other thread.

Want to give thanks to all the vortech/fi knowledge Guru's! I used your insight, faq thread, install thread to get it done. Without those i would not have been confident enough to do a self install.

A Mustang Dyno may put a little more load to the load....lol

I think Sharif's dyno is around 9% lower than a dynojet [ from what others have posted ]

Congrats on doing such a good job on the install !!!! For me...wiring up the SS box would be the hardest job .

Went trough 3/4 of a tank today! Drove 260 miles+! Good thing gas is getting 'cheap' now.

Felt like such a ricer last week. I had my gauges and front mount installed, but no sc. Whenever someone got next to me i felt ashamed! Its all good now, they hear me coming and know whats up.

No ss box here, got a utec. Fairly easy install once you get it in place. Tight fit is a understatement.

And he is still running the stock exhaust too. Just test pipes.

The 3.12 pulley adds about 25-30whp on our dyno.
