Default Replace all Vortech clamps w/ T-bolt clamps?

Has anyone done this yet? Just a little upgrade I'd like to do. Where's a cheap, reliable place online that sells them?

Summit is a good source, the Turbonetics ones shine up nicely and have a decent logo on them.

If you were talking about something with more boost, I would say go for it. But, with the Vortech, I would skip it and save the cash. I have never had any issues with mine or my customers' cars who have Vortechs and hoses popping off.

I never had any issues with hoses popping off on my old high boost TT setup with regular hose clamps, but t-clamps are always a good add-on. I say go for it, couldn't hurt and they look cool

unneccesary, heavy duty worm clamps are sufficient, especially for vortech.

Back from the dead (the thread) -

I want to replace all my clamps on my vortech SC kit...
Anyone know all the sizes I need by chance?
My kit isnt here yet... And I'd like to not have to wait when it gets here, and just put good clamps on the first time. The Vortech instructions just say #40.. and #40 might be anywhere from 2 to 3 inch...

I'm not asking if i need them, i just want to be safe...
Just need to know how many of what size i need.

the manual also tells you the size of the pipes...

off top of my head..

TB 3" x2
TB to MAF 3" x2
maf to next cast pipe 2.75"x1 and 2.5"x1
that cast pipe to curved IC pipe 2.5"x2
IC 2.5" x4
BOV pipe to SC 2.75" x1 and 2.5" x1
Supercharger outlet 2.75" x 2

16 in total

you'll have about 100$ in T-bolt clamps that are just for show with a vortech kit.

Seems kinda pointless with the vortech kit like people have been saying, not only for the low boost of it, but all the pipes have rolled ends on them. Very unlikely for a coupler to blow off.

Alright...
You all talked me out of it...

I'll go for some solid rear bushings instead.
