Default Fuel leaking everywhere!! need help!!

I was driving my car around the other day and had a 1/4 tank of gas, put 5 gallons in, to where there was 1/2 tank, next thing I know, 3 miles later im at 1/4 tank

Then after driving a bit today, I went to the gas station with a 1/4 tank, out in 8 gallons, and gas started pouring out of the car, Its right in between the passenger side rear wheel, and edge of the door. Problably leaked out the amount of a soda can. I dont really want to drive the car anywhere and I have no idea how to get it on a tow truck. Im kinda stuck. Any ideas anyone??

something like this happened to me once about a year ago, but only when full or near full would it leak in that exact same place

later the issue was fixed in the pump assembly

Maybe it could be this recall from Nissan. What year is your 350Z?

This is a recall Nissan did for the 2003-2004 models a while back ago.

2003-2004 NISSAN 350Z; VOLUNTARY RECALL CAMPAIGN FUEL HOSES
Nissan has determined that some 2003 - 2004 model year Nissan 350Z vehicles may have a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety. There is the possibility that the fuel filler hose may crack and result in fuel leakage from the hose while refueling. If an ignition source is present, a fire could occur. In addition, fuel vapor hoses may crack and cause the malfunction indicator lamp to come on. To prevent this condition from occurring, Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to replace the fuel filler and vapor hoses with new ones.

Tow truck if, your insurance pays for it and use a flat bed only. I wouldn't want to drive my car if it was leaking gas. Thank god your car didn't blow up or catch on fire when you were driving it. The work should be done free of charge from the dealer.

I have a 2003 and even though I didn't have any leaks, I had it replaced anyway. It was supposed to be replaced free of charge but since I had aftermarket exhaust(Injen) they hit me up for 100 bucks since they said they had to work around my exhaust....

If it is the fuel filler hose recall have Nissan dealership pay for the tow since its an extreme safety issue to drive it...cheaper for them to tow it than have a lawsuit against them if the car blows up.....

Take someone with to the gas station. Have them put gas in slow and you lay down and look under the car. It prob is the filler neck. @ least you get it fixed for free.

Do you have a fuel system? Is your fuel system modded in any way?

Well, if it is the neck then it will be fine to drive to the dealership.
