Default JDM HKS True dual 2.5'' Full (JAPAN Model)

Hello Everyone!

This is the JDM ver. of the HKS true dual 2.5" exhaust. The quality is magnificent and the welding on the exhaust are brilliant. I do not have a sound clip. With out a sound clip, I will said the sound similar to the Amuse but even better (deeper) similar to a Porsche. I love it!!!!

Now the question is why the USA model is different from the JDM, I search but I did not fine anything.

I thought the HKS was 2.36" (60 MM). Can you measure the inside diameter? Cost? Vendor?

Very nice, if it is in fact a true 2.5" all the way through.

Sucks that it has rolled flanges though. Flat flanges FTW!

Just the Y has flats. I sold my APS 2.5'' to get this one and I am happy that I did. Although the APS is a brilliant exhaust with all flat flanges, it was too heavy.

HKS JDM exhaust is probably different from the USDM one because the exhaust noise level regulation in Japan is very restrictive.

Not really. My greddy evo2's had rolled flanges and those things ruined many exhaust gaskets becuase of the rolled flange design. The flat flanges do a much better job of sealing than rolled flanges.

This exhaust is sex though, wish we had it stateside at a great price.

I have been looking for this exhaust for the better part of two years! Where did you get and how much did it end up costing you?
