Well, not to go too much off topic, but a Bias Ply ET vs Street/Road Race tires at the drag strip IS NOT A FAIR match - I had a GREAT time racing Julian and look forward to lining up again, win/lose doesn't matter... But you of all people should know that giving up 3, 4, 5 tenths up in the 60ft is double that at the end of the track...

My predicition is Julian is going to bring his orange 350z and it's going to be a run what you brung affair... As it is, his orange car is pretty gutted, no heater core, etc and is full caged - definitely not your average street car...

My Trap speed was 105 on that run...The second run I eased into 5th.I had to let off the gas force it into 5th and get back on it.I saw I had beat Phil badly, so what was the point..

Ill tell you what Im bringing to the race..Same car I ran you in
But I will clarify:
My car DOES have a cage, 5 point.
My interior IS 80% gutted (due to the cage)
I DO in fact have a full dash, airbags, heatercore ,radio,ect..(heatercore is bypassed so I have no heat)
I have 2 seats,Sparcos to be exact
Im running a 19x9" front rim
Im running a 15x8 weld wheel (still undecided on MT DR's or ET streets)
I have a stock gas tank
I have a stock battery and location
my car will be composed of all off the shelf parts, no custom fabbed bs.
I will be running a standard APS extreme kit
I 90% will be running a 6mt tranny
My car weighs 3680 with me in it, no gutted Jeremy Tibbs shell car with skinnies..Its a REAL street car..
I will have a valid NJ registration and insurance card
I WILL be trailoring it to the track in the event of a break down,But I can take it on a drive if anyone requests..
I will be running a NON sleeved block

I dont want any excuses nor will I make any..If I win or if I loose, Im just getting away from the wife and kid for a day And getting **** drunk afterwards..

With a knee spin??WTF?? 1985 break dancing??

I will do one of 2 things, either get as much interior back in as possible, or wigh both cars prior, and let Alberto see that Im still most likely 50-150lbs heavier than his car.. Due to my fat ARS...

Now we have a race I did my calcs going off what you say your car weighs - your weight your car = 3400lbs. Mine was 3280lbs with Greddy TT, 11.5lb Braille battery and pass seat out, but it will be IN for the event and I run a stock battery now. So car weights should be within 50-75lbs or so. Cant wait!!!!

Now, did you use the same "RICER MATH" you flamed me for last year in my 10second Z thread?

No I NEVER calculate times when Im .7 away from it! I was referring to weight above. I would feel better doing it within a few tenths of a second-say I ran 11.2 with a weak 1.7 60ft then you can obviously calculate what you need to do to go 10's. Even if you have the power/trap to hit 10's AND a launch if your slacking on the shifting its not happening. You need 3 of 3 IMO to hit 10's with a 3300+lb street car, of course power can compensate for driving to a degree. That is why I want to run my goal with as little power as possible-we will see many 6MT 10 sec Z's this year.

edit-BTW, me posting my wishes/goals are no where near me posting "I own a 10 sec Z" in the drag forum when your running high 11's
