) and then come back and do a 18psi tune and a race gas tune. (this just in from my tuner-dude.... I believe a lot of it has to do with the cams. Also...certain fuel/ignition tuning in low boost load sites can get the turbos to spin up faster and develop power sooner. So, I'd sum it up to the cams and tuning. Basically you take advantage of the cam profile on boost onset with tuning, maximizing your power development)

Damn...I was hoping it was you. There were too many people through the shop today. Somebody must have gripped 'em up on accident. I thought you was plottin' on the Jeep! I see how you look at it
The G wagon will be on the streets tomorrow. You are gonna shock the **** out of people. I'm very happy with the powerband. You will be too. That thing is gonna pull for days! Hey, you better take it easy on me if you catch me on the roll
Ttyl Chrome. Peace.

For the type of driving I do (mountain roads, virtually no freeway pulls anymore), I'm not really looking at an engine build until necessary. That said, if I do a Camshaft upgrade even with a stock block, would that mean I might be able to make even MORE power down low? (I already have insanely fast turbo spools and power down low).
Thanks! Looking at GTM Cams.

There are many little tweaks we do along the way also. Barely noticable things. Propriatary things. Change this...move that...open this...remove that. Stuff during the install when we say..."why did xxxxxx design it like that? This would be much better"...I have always understood that the littlest change here can make a huge difference there.

Now that i have gotten used to the high engagement point, this thing feels awesome. its comforting to go a little overkill on the clutch because as much as that thing costs, i dont want to be replacing it because it doesnt hold the power! i would have to go waaaaaay overboard to out-horsepower this clutch. thanks to gt motorsports for selling us on the exedy clutch.

on my way. btw the way if you have never heard open dumps........OMG!!!! i drove around for awhile after i picked up the car and the power is just insane. add to that the sound of those dumps at wot and it gets just plain ignorant! i did the tein flex, edfc, stillen f&r camber and toe kit. had the suspension 'dialed in' for street (won't corner balance it till i track it maybe next year), so i'm definately ready to put that thing into some corners! i'll probably do a write up after i've driven it for a month or so. my numbers are 50whp and 50trq higher than carv2's old shop car. we had identical setups except i had the cams. even though i wont do an 18psi tune for a month or so, i can't wait!
yo yo.. nice man.. im on my way to get my car right now.. im in kuwait waiting on flight to LA to pick her up.. im excited for you and hopefully ill be able to match those numbers.. looks sick
