They are not HKS certified, hence they don't tune the F-Con VPro. They have lots of UTEC experience. They recently did a 700whp or something Time Attack EVO (I think it was for time attack).

Their 1000whp Supra is nothing to sneeze at either . . .

Yes, he said they recently tuned a stroker 3.8 vq with the turbonetics kit.
Seemed kinda odd that someone would do a tn st and built stroker motor.

11.5 A/F Ratio is a bit lean for pump gas IMO... I would richin it up a bit. Aim for low 11's high 10's

Good luck,

That doesn't sound good.. it's awfully hard to build a nice timing map with nothing plotting power.

not power or torque, so you can't see how your curves are shaping up.

+1.....it's hard to properly calibrate any engine across the entire power band, without a dyno. Otherwise, you are just guessing.

Just got off the phone with these guys http://www.axiommotorsports.com/
They have a wideband dyno and actually had sam from gtm dyno tune a aps exteme kit recently.

They are very familiar with the utec for subarus, but Bill told me that he works with another tuner that does tune the vq platform via utec, and he could arrange to have him there for my tuning.

Thanks for the thread hijack

I spoke with this place that I saw recommended on the Subi forums:

http://www.dynoauthority.com/

turns out they have quite a lot of UTEC experience and just tuned a utec'd Greddy TT g35 putting down 530rwhp or so.

Sounds promising.
